This Week: Walt Disney World (FL)

On our recent family vacation, we decided to put our list-making skills to the ultimate test in order to determine the very best things to do at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida!

We rode as many rides and saw as many attractions as humanly possible during our stay, all while rating them on a variety of factors, including creativity, line experience, immersiveness, and thrill. Seven full park days later, our spreadsheet was BURSTING with data just ready to be listed. So, we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair, as the Listies proudly present—the rankings!

The Best of the Best 🥇🥈🥉

We scored each ride on a scale of 1–10 across four different areas of focus, before averaging them to create an overall ride score. Below you’ll see the top three rides for each category (by park), as well as our overall Top 10 Rides and Attractions
Every Disney vacationer knows that time is short in these parks, so you should optimize your trip by skipping some of the parks’ lesser offerings. Here are our 5 Least Favorite Rides at Disney World, in no particular order:
  • Journey Into Imagination With Figment

  • Walt Disney Railroad

  • Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros

  • Tomorrowland Speedway

  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends

Not every attraction is a winner, but when you’re trying to do everything, you do end up sitting through a few duds. With that in mind, these are our 5 Least Favorite Attractions at Disney World, in no particular order:
  • The Hall of Presidents

  • Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room

  • Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress

  • Country Bear Jamboree

  • Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage

The Elusive ‘10’ 🙏

A closer look at the rides that took the top four slots on our overall best rides list, plus the reasons why we think they are each a PERFECT 10👌

An Age-Old Question… Which Park Is Best? 🧐

With Disney World adding new rides and attractions every year, the question of which park is best is certainly subject to change. But as of now, here’s how they stack up 📊

So, Hollywood Studios easily takes the cake when it comes to Line Experience and Creativity, but Animal Kingdom was a close rival on Immersiveness and Thrill.

Magic Kingdom faced an uphill battle due to its large number of “kiddie” rides, while EPCOT really only has two strong pros at the moment: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (our second favorite ride overall) and drinking/eating your way around World Showcase (our top ranked attraction)

🍕Eats and Drinks🍷

Ranking rides can be pretty exhausting, so refueling is a necessary part of any Disney vacation. Take a look below as we highlight our five favorite eats from across all four parks, as well as the five must-drink countries at EPCOT (+our cocktails of choice) 🍹
